1. Kaindl Laminate Flooring - Bigfoot Snap plus

Quite a lot has been happening behind the scenes at Kaindl - we would like to draw your special attention to our product Bigfoot:

At present Kaindl is the world’s only manufacturer of Laminate floorings in the herringbone look. The innovative collection "Bigfoot" with herringbone decorative effects in Maple, Oak, Beech, and Cherry is in great demand internationally.

From now on this highly popular Herringbone Look laminate flooring also incorporates the new Kaindl Installation Technology "Snap plus".

"Bigfoot Snap plus" guarantees a particularly resilient and self-interlocking joining of the panels and offers all the well proven "Bigfoot" advantages:

The extra-large panels (1324 x 331 x 8 mm) compared with Standard-sized panels are 30 % bigger and are able to show not only Herringbone effects but also 4 and 3 bar effects as well as tile and antique finishes to particular advantage. With "Bigfoot Snap plus" the installed flooring has one third less joints and the time taken to install is shortened by 30 %.

Furthermore - the specially developed supporting panel "Aquastop 6 provides for enhanced protection against dampness and is particularly hard wearing and robust. In view of the of the modest installation elevation of the flooring - a mere plus 8 mm - "Bigfoot Snap plus" is also ideally suitable also in case where older buildings are to be renovated.

3. Kaindl Genuine Wood Flooring -
innovative with SNAP automatic installation technology

The "Snap wood" product family includes the two genuine wood floor coverings "Snap wood Veneer" and the brand-new "Snap wood parquet." These are the ideal genuine wood floors for just about every room in the house. They are also suitable where underfloor heating is used, they are hygienic and so easy to keep clean. "Snap wood Veneer" is available as 3-plank system (format: 1285 x 195 x 11 mm) in the trend-setting wood types Cherry, Beech, Maple, and Oak.

For "Snap wood Parquet" in the 3-plank-system (format 1285 x 195 x 11 mm) we have the wood types Beech, Oak, and Canadian Maple.

By virtue of the useful thickness of genuine wood surface - which, if necessary, can be sanded several times - "Snap wood Parquet" is also ideally suitable for installation in the renovation sector.

4. Kaindl Installation Technologies -

Consequently you have a choice of four installation techniques from Kaindl:

• a) Standard installation with glue

• b) Either/Or Installation with glue or with CCS Clip glue-less

• c) Snap automatic interlocking technique without glue

• d) Snap plus with special glue ready applied as factory finish

For the flawlessly installed laminate flooring in only three steps:

ACTIVATE - wet the tongue with the water-applicator

CONNECT - the self-orienting groove-and-tongue joint

MERGE - the activated glue for a maximum bonding power hold

Once again Kaindl Flooring is leading the way in the development of innovative technologies tailor-made to meet the actual needs of the market:

With the development of the product "Snap plus" it is now possible - before the floor panels leave the factory - to treat them with a glue that only becomes active when moistened with the K-Floor Water Applicator at the time of installation.

Since only the exact amount of glue required for the above purpose is applied at the factory, the job of installing does not involve any contaminating mess, nor is there any surplus glue to clean off.

This fast and clean installation technique enables a rock-firm and extremely durable gluing within the shortest possible time.

5. Kaindl "Sound Design" -
the laminate flooring pleasant also to the ear!

With our products "Snap silent" and "Masterfloor silent Snap plus" we are able to offer improved acoustic properties and enhanced "walking on" comfort.

The new flooring with the predicate "Sound Designed" achieves a considerably improved dampening of impact sound and is fitted with a special underlay made of recycling foam material.

An outstanding feature is the integrated sound-proofing. By virtue of this no additional sound-proofing layer is necessary.

6. Decorative Finish Trend barometer
& Decorative Finish Novelties by Kaindl

Beech and Maple are currently the classical favourites with the interior designers and the end users in Europe.

Walnut is gaining in popularity in the interior design sector these days. The fine-pored wood of the walnut tree conveys noble aesthetic and the impression of a tastefully furnished home.

But Oak is also enjoying a revival. Formerly cherished for its dark and heavy effects, Oak is meanwhile preferred in lighter, paler tones with An increasingly popular antique character.

Here again Kaindl is right in line with these trends with the following new decorative effects:

The top actual Kaindl Laminate Flooring Pattern Collection also celebrates its premiere at Domotex 2002.

Samples of more than 60 decorative finishes are featured in a compact portable samples case that contains comprehensive information on all Kaindl laminate floorings.

From the colour and product selection through to installation systems and the matching accessories plus a guide on how to place orders. With the help of six original panels a comprehensive overview of all flooring profiles and supporting panels is presented.

New also is the supplement "Easy Order" which features a list of all decorative designs including their place in the individual collections and thus provides a readily understandable orientation aid for the placing of orders.

Orders in the new Megastore-online-Shop are supported by a guide with screenshot illustrations.

By the end of February 2002 the new Kaindl Flooring Collection will be generally available.
