Metallic Effects and Cosy Wood Tones in the vanguard of fashion.
A cool techno style heralds in the approach of the new millennium in the family home. With its innovative metallic series – the "heavy metal line" – in different designs and edging applications, and also a wide choice of stone optical effects, Kaindl 1999 is right up in front with the new trend. As far the wood grain look is concerned, cosy wood tones such as cherry, apple, birch, and maple in brown to dark shades continue to dominate. Also highly in fashion at present are innovative fantasy designs in the furniture and interior decoration sectors. In the case of floor coverings, wood grain designs in country-house character – particularly in beech, cherry, and maple through to fashionable old wood – are becoming increasingly more popular.
Narrow fillets set the tone
The wind of change on the "furniture front" is provided for by absolutely new postforming laminates whereby narrow fillets and bold designs set the tone. Forming plates having a radius of only 3 - 6 mm, and which can be used as table tops, working tops in the kitchen, furniture fronts, and elsewhere throughout the furniture construction and interior decorating sectors, are amongst the very latest innovations. With a rich variety of decorative effects Kaindl offers numerous ways for the achievement of a harmonious shade matching between unicolour and wood grain finishes and thus also to decorate the home in keeping with the spirit of the time.
