Kaindl Laminate Flooring 'Flamenco'-tested
Kaindl Flooring recently achieved a sweeping and right-across-the-board success with its new presentations at this year's Domotex 2000 in Hanover, Europe's biggest ever trade exhibition for floor covering materials. In addition to being intrigued with the latest Kaindl innovations in connection with glue-free floor-laying technology the public were delighted and fascinated by the performance of a troupe of Flamenco dancers who commenced to put the flooring through a test which was every bit as severe as it was spectacular. Looking back on the success that his Austrian-based company achieved at this year's fair a contented Werner Bechtold - Kaindl Flooring Manager - was able to report a 'really extraordinary demand for our new series BIGFOOT, Clip Connection System, and Snap by Kaindl
A spectacular virtual presentation was yet another first-ever by Kaindl at this year's Domotex. In this case a multi-media cyberclip informed the enthusiastic visitors to the stand about the product novelties and the company itself. Two future-oriented projects were also introduced. Namely a laminate flooring system with integrated sound insulation the laminate flooring with electric panel heating for installation in modern low-energy houses but also in older buildings undergoing renovation. Studies in connection with both these projects are now being conducted at Innsbruck University 'Institut für Bauphysik' with Kaindl sponsorship.
With its extra-large panels and spectacular patterns the Kaindl BIGFOOT Collection is currently without parallel on the market for glueless laminate flooring. Indeed, the Kaindl designer team really have succeeded in conveying an authentic wood character with their Herringbone Beech and Herringbone Cherry patterns. But also the optical properties of the more conventional bar-shaped patterns as well as those of the tile and antique patterns are shown off to particularly good effect by virtue of the jumbo-sized format (1324x331x8mm). A premiére were also notched up by the sophisticated Clip Connection System (CCS). This innovative glueless floor laying system with the high-grade steel CCS Clip makes floor laying quite an easy task and reduces the time taken to lay flooring by up to 50 %. Yet another quick and easy way to lay laminate flooring with expert precision is to use the patent-protected 'SNAP by Kaindl' which works on the basis of a high-tech groove-and-tongue interlocking system.
