Kaindl Represented at
ZOW/Italy with MDF and Decorative Panels
Salzburg-based M. Kaindl
Holzindustrie will be exhibiting with MDF panels, decorative panels and
laminates at the ZOW in Pordenone/Italy (10-13 October, Hall 6, Stand
A20). The Austrian family business produces more than 250 decorative
finishes for modified and improved wood materials overall. Some of these
decorative finishes are also included in the new "Colour Combination
Collection" offered for the Decorative Panel, Laminated Panel,
Melamine Edging, ABS Edging, Work Top and Windowsill product groups. Top
decorative designs recently became available in door-size format 2150×990
mm as well.
Trends in Decorative
Panels:Very much in fashion are grey shades such as Silver-Grey,
Titanium, Techno and Platinum. Laminated panels in Real Aluminium and Real
Fine Steel from the Kaindl-Metallic Line are setting soft, as well as cool
accents in surface effects. Top design highlights are the Ice Pearl
effects in White, Mint and Grey, and also the decorative creations "Ming"
and "Window" in the same shades. Colour signals are being set in
rich Yellow, Red, Blue and Green. Decorative finishes on wood are still
dominated by light shades such as Birch, Maple, Beech and Pear. But a
trend towards darker finishes such as Wenge, Walnut, Oak or Red Alder is
steadily gaining momentum. Kaindl also offers a wide selection in the
Fantasy and Stone decorative effects - including the novel decorative
designs "Grainy" (white, beige, grey and blue) and "Lacano"
(light beige and light blue).
Wide MDF selection -
also in deep-drawn: quality With own on-site MDF production - the
high-tech production plant was built at an investment cost in the region
of EURO 87 million - M. Kaindl Holzindustrie is able to guarantee optimum
customer service and the greatest flexibility possible. Kaindl in fact
uses 50 percent of this plant's MDF panel output for the production of its
own laminate floorings. MDF panels are also processed by Kaindl into
furniture fronts and back walls of various designs, as well as into panels
and strips for the furniture-making industry. By virtue of their smooth
surface, MDF panels are ideally suitable for surface finishing with
veneers, decorative films or lacquers, but also for shaping by means of
milling, etc. Apart from this, Kaindl also has the capacity to produce
special MDF raw panels with deep-drawn quality in 18 and 19 mm (format
2800×2070 mm) as a high-quality starting material for further
processing into film coated furniture fronts in the furniture-making
industry.
