World-wide Demand:
Wood Materials and
Laminate Floorings by Kaindl
Internationally
Recognised as Panel Specialist and Laminate Flooring Expert
M. Kaindl Holzindustrie
is an Austrian family business based in Salzburg and now rated
internationally as one of the leading producers of improved modified wood
materials and laminate floorings. The 750 or so strong workforce of the
company's two production plants (one at Wals near Salzburg, the other at
Lungötz in Salzburg Province) annually achieve a sales turnover in
the region of Euro 310 million. More than 80 per cent of the total
production is exported to 60 and more foreign markets. The improved
modified woods product range extends from MDF, OSB, chip, and thin
chipboards in a variety of finishes (e.g. veneered, laminate coated, etc.)
to worktops with matching accessories, laminated panels, edgings, window
sills, and a whole host of other products.
The subsidiary company,
Kaindl Flooring, with a total annual production output of 40 million
square metres, is one of the world's leading and most experienced supplier
of laminate floorings. Kaindl laminate floorings are noted for the
incorporated use of innovative technologies, fashionable designs, and the
fact that they are both hard-wearing and easy to keep clean. Like all
products made by Kaindl, these laminate floorings are able to satisfy even
the highest of quality requirements: Indeed, all the basic materials that
go into the making of Kaindl laminate floorings are manufactured within
the company itself. Even the company's requirement in medium density fibre
boards is supplied from an own MDF production plant - whereby 50 per cent
of this plant's annual production output goes into further processing at
Kaindl Flooring itself.
For years Kaindl has been
one of the trend-setters in this branch of industry - and this whether
with regard to technology, innovative production processes, or decorative
designs. As far as the environment is concerned, Kaindl is recognised as
being the most environmentally-friendly producer of improved modified wood
materials in the whole world. In recognition of this achievement, in 1996
the company was awarded the prestigious Environmental Protection Prize by
Salzburg Province. In its drive for innovation Kaindl has certainly not
neglected the Customer Service aspect either. As the first in this branch
of industry the company opened an own Logistics Centre - the Kaindl
Megastore - with a storage area of 35,000 m2. You can order a copy of the
Megastore prospectus per e-mail under sales@kaindl.com or on the Internet
under www.kaindl.com.
