  • What does IP mean?
One of the quality criteria taken into account when assessing the surface properties of a laminate floor covering is its resistance to abrasion. This resistance is measured by means of the “Taber Abraser Test”. The test apparatus comprises rotating discs - the faces of which have been fitted with abrasive paper - and a rotating device to which the test panel is secured. The rotating discs are then brought to bear on the rotating panel at a certain pressure. Immediately the decorative surface of the panel shows the first signs of damage, the number of revolutions through which the test panel has already turned up until that point is recorded as the Initial Point (IP).

How often can I lay the laminate flooring SNAP® by Kaindl?
Once. The SNAP® by Kaindl technology is a special snap-tight tongue- and-groove mechanism that makes installation child's play - no glue needed in living areas. And speedy, too.
