As from the end
of August this year you can visit the new Kaindl
Flooring Homepage www.kaindl.com on the
Internet. Kaindl.com can provide you with a
better product overview, comprehensive
information on the subject of floor-laying,
service-oriented news, and a simplified
navigation.
A brand-new
development is the company’s worldwide dealer
network. Would you like to know where your
nearest Kaindl Dealer has his shop? Then simply
type in your local postal code and there in
front of you will appear a list of all Kaindl
Dealers in your vicinity.
Planning on
visiting Kaindl Salzburg or Kaindl Lungoetz?
Route maps showing you exactly how to get there
will be available on call for printing out.
For example, if
you require a detailed route description from
Frankfurt to Salzburg, the route planner will
provide you with an individual routing.
Parallel to the
redesign of Flooring website, a
Multimedia-Picture Data Base (known as MMBD for
short) has been developed and will be available
online for Kaindl customers and suppliers. The
link-up is effected via www.kaindl.com. With the
appropriate login the user will be able to
download pictures and Multimedia data in
popularly used formats. Initially the picture
data base will stock more than 1000 (!!)
pictures which will be regularly updated. MMBD
is yet another marketing backup measure for the
benefit of Kaindl customers - who are now able
to call up any relevant picture material at any
time of the day or night. This will surely be
appreciated by Kaindl customers and suppliers
overseas!
We shall inform
you personally with regard to the accessing and
application modes.

development will be the realisation of the M.
Kaindl Holzindustrie Homepage. Here again a
complete product overview for your information.
Navigation, layout, and user-friendliness will
be along the same lines as for the Flooring
Homepage.

2) Setting an
example with regard to the environment
Waste heat from
Kaindl’s production plant will really not be
wasted in future Because it is to be channelled
off into private households in surrounding
Salzburg and used as an alternative source of
energy.
It has
meanwhile been definitively decided: The
airborne heat liberated in the production of
chipboard at the Kaindl plant will in future be
harnessed to supply 1,300 private households in
a nearby housing estate with heating energy. Hot
waste gases liberated at the afterburning stage
are to be channelled through heat exchangers and
condensed ready for use in a district heating
network serving nearby houses. A perfect example
of environmentally friendly district heating.
This project is
a further expression of Kaindl’s long-standing
commitment to the environment.
For example,
did you know that 10% of the total cost of
building the new EURO 87 million MDF plant was
invested in environmental protection measures?
Alone over the period 1989-1994 Kaindl spent
EURO 22 million on measures to conserve the
environment.
