Flooring: Laying instruction
After laying the floor the
following points should be observed:
Your new floor
is ready for use after 24 hours.
Wedges should
not be removed until 24 hours after laying.
Please do not
install any furniture beforehand.
During the
drying period the floor should not be exposed to any heavy loads
so that the glue can set completely.
Simply affix the skirting boards
with the invisible Kaindl Flooring fixing-system or with steel
pins or screws to the wall — the job is finished!
N.B.: attach skirting to walls only, so that the laminated
floor expansion tolerance function to the walls won´t be
impaired.
Kaindl
transition-, reducer and end-profiles create harmonieus connections
at doorways, larger rooms (basic rule 7), for all types of floor and
everywhere where skirting boards are not suitable.
Cleaning
for the first time
In order to remove any glue residue, after the floor has been laid,
it should be wiped over two or three times with Kaindl-Floor-Care.
Hardened glue can be removed with acetone or special glue solvents.
If minor damage should occur such as cracks or indentations, they
can be removed with the matching repair set Colorfill. This does not
reduce the quality of the floor. However, more serious damage should
be repaired by an expert.
