Success for Kaindl at "Bau 2001" in Munich
* Trade public shows big
interest for Kaindl laminate flooring innovations:
* Footfall sound attenuation, room soundproofing system, and panel heating
* "Kaindl Colour Combination 2001" - now with 105 decorative
designs and available in door-size format
Although it was only the
first time that M. Kaindl Holzindustie has exhibited at this annual
international trade fair, it was a highly successful debut. The event was
very well patronised by a trade public from all corners of the globe.
Indeed, not only the German speaking countries, but also, and in
particular, the Asian countries, Turkey, and Eastern Europe were strongly
represented and showed a keen interest in the innovative products
displayed by the Salzburg-based family business. Commenting
enthusiastically about his company's successful show at the trade fair,
the Kaindl Sales Manager for Austria and Southern Europe, Kurt Breinbauer
said: "What seemed to attract them most was our new footfall sound
attenuation and room sound-proofing system, the electric panel heating
system for laminate floorings, and the new Kaindl Colour Combination
Collection. And, of course, it is very gratifying to see that, in the
laminate flooring sector our "Snap plus", the glue-free
installation system "CCS", and the "Bigfoot "
collection with the automatic "Snap" interlocking technology are
well on the way to becoming really long-lasting hits."
The very latest technical innovations in the laminate flooring sector
were a main attraction: A walk over such a floor fitted with the new "Kaindl
Footfall Attenuation and Room Soundproofing System" is 30 per cent
less audible than in the case of the present standard market products. By
virtue of its modest requirements in terms of additional construction
height, this new system is ideal for installation even in the older
buildings undergoing renovation. The electric Panel Heating system for
laminate floorings - which is suitable for use with all Kaindl laminate
floorings - was also presented to the public at "Bau 2001". With
the new product development, "Snap plus", it will be possible
for the production works to finish the laminate flooring panels with a
layer of special glue which can readily be reactivated during final
installation. This will mean that even laminate floorings that require
gluing can then be installed cleanly and quickly. This logical further
development of the "Snap" automatic interlocking technique
should be of particular advantage in the showroom floor sector. With the
popular "Bigfoot" collection - which has meanwhile been extended
to include decorative designs in Maple and in Oak - Kaindl is still the
world's only producer of laminate floorings in the "Herringbone Look".
Since the beginning of the year, the new "Colour Combination
Collection 2001" for modified and improved wood materials includes
105 decorative designs. Visitors to the trade fair were particularly
impressed by the metallic laminates in aluminum and high-grade steel. The
very latest decorative finishes are now also available in door size format
(2150 x 990 mm), and in 32 mm ABS edgings.
